The
Curly Tale of the Swine Flu
Lecture and Case Presentation
November 1, 2009
Time 12:00 - 3:00pm
Location: Girardi's Restaurant
504 5th Ave S Edmonds, WA 98020
Come
hear about the circuitous tale
of the Swine Flu, related
infections, and homeopathic
cures. A presentation will
educate you on the history of
the Swine Flu, bring you up to
date with the current Swine Flu
epidemic and elucidate how this
flu may be similar to and
different from other flus. Homeoprophylaxtic treatment of
the Swine Flu, as is being
practiced in Cuba, will be
presented, as will information
on how to stay abreast of this
epidemic and where to get
remedies covering this Swine Flu
strain.
Our
homeopathic community has vast
store of knowledge when it comes
to flu treatment. Access to
homeopathic remedies and each
other’s experiences takes some
of the fear out of dealing with
deadly flu and cold epidemics.
In the second part of the
program practitioners are
welcome to share cases, ask
questions of each other, and
engage in lively discussion.
The
meeting is FREE for WAHA
members. You can join WAHA and
come for FREE (please see

Corrections/addendum from Heidi
regarding her talk about Cuban
Homeoprophylaxis:
1.
Never has WHO recognized any
homeoprophylaxis as a first line
defense, no populations, no
countries; there is also no such
thing as ‘the’ mass
homeoprophylaxis for AH1N1 in
the world or presented as such;
2.
Finlay has, besides asking WHO
for help to buy vaccines for
their most vulnerable
population, developed an
homeoprophylactic (with
homeopathic remedies and nosode
of influenzinum08) complex
called NoDEGRIP (conform to
national regulations in matter
of drugs and health products),
that has and is currently being
given to populations with
outbreaks of simultaneous
viruses, including AH1N1; a
first epidemiological survey and
evaluation of a population of 80
000 has shown a drastic and
sustained decrease of the number
of cases of febrile syndromes in
zones where NoDEGRIP has been
applied massively. Finlay has
accumulated a strong experience
in massive homeoprophylaxis, not
only with leptospirosis (2300
000p.), but with hepatitis (1
400 000), dengue (150000 so
far), conjunctivitis (180 000)
so far evaluated.
3. To
my knowledge, the nosode of the
NoDEGRIP is, like any
homeopathic ‘influenzinum’
produced annually around the
world, an homeopathic
preparation of the seasonal
vaccine for influenza08. WHO
determines each year which
strains are to be put in the
annual influenza vaccine, from
which derives yearly homeopathic
influenzinum. It usually has 3
strains; for the 2008-2009
season, the strains were one
AH1N1 Brisbane 57 strain
(because a seasonal strain of
AH1N1 had been circulating for
at least a whole year before in
different populations of the
world), one AH3N2 Brisbane 2007
strain (also a very circulating
strain of influenza in recent
years) and a B florida like 2007
strain (there is almost always a
B-influenza strain in each
yearly vaccine). The difference
with the high quality (WHO
approved installations) of the
Finlay nosode, is in the way it
is prepared: the vaccine is not
only desactivated, but it is
also purified and of course, the
adjuvants are removed; this is
not usually the case with
nosodes prepared by Pasteur, for
example, for most homeopathic
fabricants.
First Annual Homeopathy Garden Party
Sunday, May 31, 2009
WAHA!'s
First Annual Garden Party was a
huge success! Close to a hundred
homeopathic practitioners,
supporters and homeo geeks
turned out .
Senator
Eric Oemig, prime sponsor of the
Safe Harbor Bill, attended and
was much sought after for a
chance to bend his ear. He
expressed a growing and genuine
interest in homeopathy. He
agreed to be our champion in
Olympia. Jessica Greenway, a
Kirkland City Council Member
attended and was impressed with
our organization and curious
about homeopathy.
The
atmosphere was relaxed and
casual, in a lovely garden
setting affording folks the
opportunity to catch up with old
friends and make new
acquaintances. Old study group
buddies met up, as did fellow
colleagues and students. Thanks
for coming and helping make
homeopathy more visible in
Washington state, so that
homeopathy grows in a climate of
increasing awareness.
Stay
tuned for next years Garden
Party!
